Carder R. Burns, OD, FAAO
Personal Information:
Dr. Burns is married to Trisha Burns, who is the library director at Bay County Public Libraries. They have a son, Noah, who is attending Grand Valley State University. All enjoy skiing in the winter and boating in the summer.

Michael J. Engelman, OD
Personal Information:
Dr. Michael Engelman is originally from Grand Blanc. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School, and attended Ohio University where he was a four-year member of the golf team and graduated with a degree in Nutrition and a minor in Diabetes. He completed his Optometric degree at Indian University in Bloomington. Dr. Engelman met his wife Kelsey at IU, and in their free time they enjoy exploring the many great hiking spots in Michigan, and cheering on the Detroit sports teams. Dr Engelman is thrilled to be back home and loves to serve the members of the community.

Peter G. Vergos, OD
Personal Information:
Dr. Vergos had been married for 31 years and has 3 children Kosta, Frankie and Nicholas with wife Susie. He went to Carmen High School, and that’s where her meet his wife Susie. His son Kosta is a family medicine resident at Muskegon Mercy Hospital. His twin brother Frankie holds a salaried position at General Motors in Warren Michigan. Frankie recently married his wife Maria and they reside in Royal Oak Michigan. Nicholas is a second-year student at the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Optometry. Dr Vergos enjoys golf, tennis, and bowling. He loves all sports. He is a long-time suffering fan of the Detroit Lions. He speaks Fluent Greek. He is very happy serving his many patients. He loves his profession and is a strong advocate for Optometry. Many of his previous patients have become optometrist.

Mark D. Engelman, OD
Personal Information:
Dr. Engelman has been married to Cheryl for 32 years and they have two children, Michael and Mandy. As of July 2020, Dr. Engelman is enjoying his retirement in North Carolina and spending his days on the golf course. He proudly passed his practice to his son Michael.
